This section provides a hardware overview and user manual for the Exact Differential Milling Unit (DMU) — a system designed for machine control of road milling machines, primarily those manufactured by Wirtgen — the DMU transforms traditional workflows into intelligent, data-driven processes.

At the heart of the system is our proprietary DMU software, which uses dual GNSS receivers setup to calculate exact milling parameters in real time. These parameters are clearly displayed on a rugged touchscreen computer and are simultaneously transmitted via CAN bus directly to the milling machine — ensuring smooth communication and accurate machine control every step of the way.

The system consists of:​

  1. Panasonic ToughPad FZ-G1 — a high-performance, field-proven computer for seamless operation in tough environments
  2. DMUMAIN — the main control unit that manages system communication and processing
  3. DMUGNSSBOX 2× — high-precision GNSS receivers for real-time positioning
  4. Communication Cables 2× — robust connectors for secure data transmission
