Software Modules

This section provides an overview of the software modules used in the Exact Differential Milling Unit (DMU) system. The DMU software is designed to control road milling machines, primarily those manufactured by Wirtgen, and it transforms traditional workflows into intelligent, data-driven processes.

At the heart of the system is our proprietary DMU software, which uses dual GNSS signals to calculate exact milling parameters in real time. These parameters are clearly displayed on a rugged touchscreen computer and are simultaneously transmitted via CAN bus directly to the milling machine, ensuring smooth communication and accurate machine control every step of the way.

Software Modules Overview:

  • DMU - The main software module for differential milling control, based on provided 3D models (DDM and new desing models).
  • Virtual Ski - Module which simulates the operation of multiplex sonic sensors on provided DDM model.
  • Exact Street On Site - Module for automated milled road surface 3D model creation.
  • Slope Replicator - Module for replicating recorded cross slopes from previous milling passes.
  • Slope Informator - Module for entering and managing cross slopes from project documentation.
  • Job Report - Module for generating detailed reports and analytics based on milling operations.
